We are slowly covering all of Auckland with a new heritage trail.
This week we have installed the panels for St Heliers newly established heritage trail. 19 heritage icons have been identified and panels have been created providing a photograph and brief overview of the icon’s historic significance. Panels also support a QR Code that when scanned deliver viewers to a specific mobile website with further information.
The QR Code surround for St Heliers is based on some beautiful fret work found above the public library. I love melding the old with the new.
