Creating a web site for New Zealand’s top realist/surrealist painter was always going to be a visual experience.
Alvin Pankhurst knows exactly what he wants to see when you look at his pages. Clean, professional and the painting is the hero.
For Alvin we created a gallery based site with a simple eCommerce element for small purchases of prints. It is based on WordPress which allows for easy addition to paintings and pages for the user. Very little clutter, simple navigation and the ability to view on many platforms.
It is enjoyable creating both a site that is useful to the artist for selling and promoting their work, and a clean high resolution library for students of art to follow a master.
It is well worth a visit to see how one of our best kiwi painters is presenting NZ to the world.
