The brief was very simple “we are creating formal heritage plaques that must fit Auckland’s existing shape and size, they must fit with the existing look, but we want them modern we want design flair and we want a custom looking QR code on each one that does not look out of place. They must also be approved by a committee at the Auckland Council”.

The final outcome was a new standard for Auckland City Heritage plaques and all the great publicity Kingsland could get for pulling a NZ first.
